A delightful & delicious high-end café. One of my top 5 cafes in Calgary.
Atmosphere: 5/5 – beautifully decorated with a French café vibe
Price: $$$/5 – average for a high-end café but will put a dent in your wallet if you visit often
Customer Service: 4/5 – service speed and quality were average. None of the employees went above and beyond nor were rude
Location: 5/5 – clean area, very close to many other attractions in Calgary
Taste: 5/5 - quality and strength of coffee was great.
Menu: 5/5 – great variety of options for all palates
Sustainability: 3/5 – other than a recycling I didn’t notice any major efforts in regard to sustainable practices
Strengths – well decorated, smooth and strong coffee, very good deserts
Weaknesses – no compost or paper straws, garbage wasn’t labelled, Cold due to AC being cranked
Good items to buy: Iced Coffee, Strawberry Cheesecake
Summary: 4.5/5 – Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by this café if you are in Calgary. They are in a great location and have awesome coffee that is both strong and smooth. Their menu has many options to chose from and their décor is beautiful. The only reason I can think of passing on visiting this café is if environmental stewardship is very important to you.
