A notable BBQ joint in a dynamite location.
Atmosphere: 4/5 – Clean & old fashioned. Dimly lit. Seat spacing is good. Nice view out windows.
Price: $$$/5 – Average pricing for a restaurant.
Customer Service: 3/5 – Servers were polite. Service speed was on the slower side of average. Had to wait a very long time to get the bill.
Location: 5/5 – Great location in the heart of Banff.
Taste: 4/5 – I have had a limited number of items, but they were all quite tasty.
Menu: 4/5 – Menu is average size generic items.
Sustainability: 1/5 – Couldn’t find info on ingredient sourcing. No advertised sustainable initiatives.
Strengths – Great location.
Weaknesses – Not sustainable.
Good items to buy: Pulled pork sandwich, Cowpuncher platter, Chicken club.
Summary: 3.5/5 - Overall, Wild Bill’s is a decent restaurant and I would recommend stopping by if you are looking for a western BBQ style dinner. They have great tasting meals with a great view out of their deck + windows. Their menu is average size with generic items, so it should please a fussy kid. The one area I think they could improve is by creating some sustainable initiatives.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you!! 😊
