Chachi’s (Southgate)

A delicious chain sandwich shop offering local ingredients.

Atmosphere: 4/5 – Very modern & local vibe.

Price: $$$/5 – Very pricey for a small sandwich & mac n cheese.

Customer Service: 3/5 – Employees were quick & polite.

Location: 4/5 – My new favourite spot to eat in the food court.

Taste: 4/5 – Lots of great tasting dishes. Pasta is overcooked but I like it that way. Wish it was spicier.

Menu: 5/5 – Lots of unique sandwiches. Gluten free friendly options as well as build your own.

Sustainability: 2/5 – Occasional community events supported, no environmental initiatives, local ingredients.

Strengths – Sleek location with a large and tasty menu

Weaknesses – Pricey, no sustainable initiatives.

Good items to buy: Cajun Chicken, BBQ Pork & Mac

Summary: 3.7/5 - Overall, if you are okay with spending a little extra then I would recommend stopping by Chachi’s next time you are in Southgate. Chachi’s has a large menu with many different and delicious sandwiches. This location is like most others having that modern local vibe with hanging meats and pickle jars. Where Chachi’s is lacking most is in their sustainability. They would really benefit by offering more compostable products (ie// cups, spoons…).

Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you!! 😊
