A distressingly crunchy coffee.
Atmosphere: 3/5 – Modern & sleek. Not the best lighting. Seat spacing is good.
Price: $$$$/5 – Per volume, way above average pricing for a caffeinated beverage.
Customer Service: 2/5 – Server was rude. Service speed was average.
Location: 4/5 – Lots of great foodie stores nearby. Transit nearby.
Taste: 1/5 – My latte was tooth grindingly full of espresso beans.
Menu: 2/5 – Menu is small and doesn’t have any unique items.
Sustainability: 1/5 – Couldn’t find info on ingredient sourcing. No advertised sustainable initiatives.
Strengths – Good Location.
Weaknesses – Taste, no sustainable initiatives.
Good items to buy:
Summary: 2.2/5 - Overall, I would not recommend stopping by Credo. They have expensive drinks that don’t taste very good. Their menu is small and doesn’t have any unique items to draw you back. I’m not sure if it is their thing or something but as shown in the photo above my drink was full of espresso grains; so much so that it was grinding my teeth like sand. Additionally, the barista was very rude to us for no apparent reason. The largest improvement I think they could make is getting the grains out of their drinks.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you!! 😊
