A delicious but expensive high-end restaurant that provides you with a unique experience.
Atmosphere: 4/5 – Modern & sleek. Dimly lit. Seat spacing was good. Unique experience provided by the servers carrying meat around.
Price: $$$$$/5 – Very expensive, so not practical to visit often but worth it since you get unlimited food. I recommend getting the $100 gift card for 80$ from Costco.
Customer Service: 4/5 – Servers were very polite & helpful. Service speed was very fast. Took 10 min. to get the bill unfortunately.
Location: 3/5 – For most people it is a little out of the way. Not many things nearby to do. Transit is close but not preferable. Would be better if in South Edmonton Common.
Taste: 5/5 – As long as you prefer overcooked pasta to al dente then everything tastes great to excellent. Meat is seasoned expertly. Love Evoolution dressing.
Menu: 5/5 – Menu is large with many unique items as well as classics for fussy eaters.
Sustainability: 2/5 – Couldn’t find info on ingredient sourcing. No advertised sustainable initiatives.
Strengths – Delicious, unlimited food.
Weaknesses – Not the best location, expensive.
Good items to have: Parmesan Pork, Beef Top Sirloin, Pao de queijo, Guarana.
Summary: 3.8/5 - Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by Pampa. They have great tasting meats that you can have as much as you desire. Their menu is large and sure to please most. While they are very expensive it is worth as you get lots of food and a unique experience. The one area I think they could improve is by using local Canadian ingredients as well as trying to make some sustainable efforts.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you!! 😊
