Zwick’s Pretzels

Writer's picture: P. SmithP. Smith
A small & delicious shop that will leave you McWanting more.

Atmosphere: 3/5 – Very small; don’t expect to get a seat during busy times. The table is a nice wood one, but the rest of the place seems like it is falling apart at the seams almost.

Price: $$$/5 – On average for pretzel pricing, but high for a breakfast sandwich.

Customer Service: 4/5 – Servers are always polite. Service speed was average.

Location: 4/5 – Great foodie location with many other excellent spots nearby. The only negative is the little strip mall it is part of is very old & falling apart. Transit close by.

Taste: 5/5 – I have had most menu items and they vary from good to delicious. McZwick is soo good.

Menu: 4/5 – Menu is average size with some unique items. There is sure to be something to please fussy eaters. Vegan friendly.

Sustainability: 2/5 – Couldn’t find info on ingredient sourcing. No advertised sustainable initiatives.

Strengths – Tasty, Nice location.

Weaknesses – Store way too small, No sustainable initiatives.

Good items to buy: McZwick, Garlic Butter, Guajillo & Feta.

Summary: 3.7/5 - Overall, I would recommend stopping by Zwick’s Pretzels. They have great tasting pretzels in a good location. Their menu is average size but will please fussy eaters. I come here all the time for a weekend breakfast splurge because it is the only place I can get their delicious McZwick. The area I think they could improve in most is by using local Canadian ingredients & start some sustainable initiatives.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you!! 😊
